Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Well that was awful ... again.
Moyes has spelt it out loud and clear that we are not an attractive proposition. So let's stop wasting time on Luiz, Grealish, Fofana, Kubo, McAtee - none of them are coming to this s**tshow.
18 days until Leeds and we need at least 5, but probably as many as 8 or 9 players. FFS!
It’s high time we changed tack and move for players for whom Everton would be a step up and who don’t have expectations of getting a move to a glamour club. Fellows, Hamer, Jason Knight, Maitland Niles, Vagiannidis (if still available), are all players we’ve been linked with. And available for fees under £15.0m apparently. Or they were a few weeks ago – the selling clubs have got us by the short and curlies at this late stage so they’ll squeeze us for more than we should be paying and every day we dither the prices will go up.
Out of contract players would move to us – definitely we should go for Eriksen, and possibly Brownhill, Coufal or Semedo.
And hopefully add a couple of up and coming young players from Eastern Europe, South America, Asia, Africa to give us some hope for the future.

Sheets in, lots of fabric softener and a non bio tab. 40° eco should do the trick.

Name them. Because the one running the show is Moyes.

Moyes gets reports and picks the players.

Hammond negotiates. Kinnear approves.

Its that simple.

It was a monumental mistake. Imagine the stupidity in looking at Moyes transfer record and thinking its a good idea to hand control to him?

What qualifies 'failed flop former Swindon keeper' Hammond to be a superstar negotiator lol
It actually seems more like, Moyes handed them a list and the recruitment team needs to recruit which is not happening fast enough.

Moyes must surely be on the verge of doing damage to his relationship with the recruitment team now... I understand applying pressure but he's really not easing up despite how the media are twisting his words for headlines. I bet the recruitment team are fuming

The thing is, they simply haven’t delivered which is hanging him and his squad out to dry. It was clear to every man and his dog that we needed 8-10 players this summer, so far we’ve got 4 with not one of them improving our starting XI.

It’s a results business. The results so far as far as recruitment goes have been sub par. They deserve to be called out.

For those that have watched the pre-season games, do Tim and Harrison loock good enough to be legitament contibuters to the squad?

Armstrong yes.

Tim no.

Ideally I would like HA to go back on loan somewhere decent maybe Holland.

Guinness and Tayto diet needed for him as he is still light for EPL.

Heath has more about him than Tim, IMHO

Iroegbunam if we could bring in £15mil and upgrade, i'd sell.

The list seems to be the similar situation as to when Man Utd hired him and his targets were Bale level or nothing.

They did of course pay above the Fellaini clause (that he was aware of) due to low balling for too long.

Why aren't we in for Paul Wanner along with PSV, gonna cost 25-30mil now and 100 mil next summer. We need to become that go between team.

He's not on Moyes list :p

Wonder if Zat likes David Moyes?

He's clearly a good coach. But theres some areas of management he shouldnt be leading.

I don’t care if the recruitment team are fuming, the manager has every right to be calling their dreadful performance out. The state of the squad is a disgrace and we are in huge trouble if we don’t bring a minimum of 5 quality players in in the next 4 weeks.

well it’s not like Moyes is wrong and the recruitment team will know that better than anyone. Bring in some starters and make Moyes shut up is the correct answer

Season doesn't start till the end of the transfer window.

We have plenty of time to get things sorted.
