If it's good for Chelsea then I don't see why we shouldn't take advantage of this massive PSR loophole, hopefully we get an amazing deal selling Goodison to the women's team as well

"No figures have been released" so we dont actually know the purpose of the sale nor whether its a PSR move.

They may want to bring in investment separately...that simple.

This recruitment drive has been terrible. We’ve known for months the gaps in the squad particularly on the right hand side. They act like they’ve just started the process.

Supposed to be a different approach.
Would be interesting to know if we had money available for signings since the end of last season or if that money has just become available recently. So either they are not prepare to spend more and want top players on the cheap or we have incompetent people in the recruitment team in charge of negotiations.

Absolutely no strategy in place for recruitment. Some of the people they hired haven't even started their jobs yet. How on earth was that going to allow us to have a good transfer window.
The main ones have started their jobs weeks ago...in this kind of business, surely you expect them to be productive on day one. This is not like the average job. They have knowledge of the market, players etc...I am not convinced by Angus since day one...great talker, but in my experience those are the ones that do the least.

For Kinnear to do an interview and say everything is on track is absurd. Especially when the manager is clearly not of the same opinion

Everyone has been saying since Christmas A massive summer coming up.

it's been dreadful, we are 9 days away from our last pre season game before the season starts, without a team, no preparation, no team integration (that reminds me what the hell has Coleman been kept on for?)

They took over on December 19th seven months ago.
Everyone acting like they started the job last week.
They took over a dysfunctional, nearly crippled mess seven months ago, so for long-term development it's going to take time to get things back in order.

Rightly or wrongly, they've put a priority on employing people behind the scenes to hopefully help steer and shape the future, so it's more efficient.

Has it hampered in the here and now? Yes, it likely has, but there are still a fair few weeks until the window closes, and I'm confident more will come in.

I'm not saying everything they have done, or will do, is correct, but I do think that we can be unrealistic to the challenges the club is still facing.

We could have got more players in by now if we'd over paid and/or went for players who perhaps weren't the right fit. Do we want that?
