Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

He doesnt have full control of transfers, we have a whole recruitment team Zat.

Name them. Because the one running the show is Moyes.

Moyes gets reports and picks the players.

Hammond negotiates. Kinnear approves.

Its that simple.

Agree. I thought it was a mistake to not retain Thelwell and I haven't changed my mind.

It was a monumental mistake. Imagine the stupidity in looking at Moyes transfer record and thinking its a good idea to hand control to him?

What qualifies 'failed flop former Swindon keeper' Hammond to be a superstar negotiator lol

Barry doesnt walk into the 11 like a Fofana or Luiz would.

He's also not got the potential huge resale of a Dibling or Rigg.

A rotation player with a lot of potential.

I think you'd have to be a fool not to understand what I meant.

Travers is looking like £4mil down the pan. The £4mil difference that could land us Fofana, I dont know but i'd rather have kept Virginia than thrown £4mil after this guy.

Alcaraz was all Thelwell while Moyes left it last minute to give the green light (see any pattern there).

Aznou Moyes didnt even seen bothered when talking about him (young, probably not ready) -- imagine Aznou listening to that? Negative management.

Players dont want to join...well its because the work has not been done on them to ascertain their interest

6months and an ineffective window...all on Moyes.

Bring back Kevin Thelwell.
Absolute garbage. Barry, Travers and Aznou are all on record as saying it was Moyes who sold the club to them and convinced them to sign.

Go and check the transcripts. But you don't mention this as it doesn't suit your blinkered agenda.

You just named them Zat.

At what point did i not say it was Moyes?

IT IS ALL MOYES.

So its Moyes ;)

The other two are supporting his failure.

Some of the press and social media folk are too pally with people at the club . It feels like they are more a protective layer between club and fan rather than any true honest appraisal or genuine investigative journalism, if that even exists anymore.

The one fella who has surprised me in what he says lately is the manager, i think he’s been more outspoken than I have ever seen him before.

But Something just feels off to me even before the new owners come in. It hasn’t been a total clean sweep off the pitch either, which to be honest i wasn’t expecting anyway.

Culture change is massively needed and I hope these are ones to do it in time and hopefully some good news in the coming days.

I will be disappointed if we are simply bringing more of the same calibre of players in.

Well that was awful ... again.
Moyes has spelt it out loud and clear that we are not an attractive proposition. So let's stop wasting time on Luiz, Grealish, Fofana, Kubo, McAtee - none of them are coming to this s**tshow.
18 days until Leeds and we need at least 5, but probably as many as 8 or 9 players. FFS!
It’s high time we changed tack and move for players for whom Everton would be a step up and who don’t have expectations of getting a move to a glamour club. Fellows, Hamer, Jason Knight, Maitland Niles, Vagiannidis (if still available), are all players we’ve been linked with. And available for fees under £15.0m apparently. Or they were a few weeks ago – the selling clubs have got us by the short and curlies at this late stage so they’ll squeeze us for more than we should be paying and every day we dither the prices will go up.
Out of contract players would move to us – definitely we should go for Eriksen, and possibly Brownhill, Coufal or Semedo.
And hopefully add a couple of up and coming young players from Eastern Europe, South America, Asia, Africa to give us some hope for the future.

Not sure if you're being serious here?

Since when did negotiators have to have goalkeeping skills? What a weird comment to make

Not sure im being serious about what?

Moyes crap transfer record...for how long, a decade? Its crap.

Hammond is a failed Swindon keeper. What qualifies him as a super deal negotiator? Show me what huge deals he's put together.

I have put together bigger deals than him.

Whose signed off on £4mil for a backup keeper no one wanted?

It's not though, you are just angry and it is clouding your judgement

You've put together deals worth more than £4M? Wow, you must have been a really good goalkeeper
