Match Thread Everton v West Ham. Wed 30th July. 23.30

Flip side of the coin is had Pickford, Branthwaite and Tarkowski played then we keep a clean sheet so despite the utter dross football played it would have been a draw at worst.
Pickford
O’Brien Tarkowski Branthwaite Mykolenko
McNeil Gana Garner Ndiaye
Alcaraz
Beto

This team and formation probably gets you 10th, we haven’t seen it yet. There’s very little behind it however and should be improved this summer.

One good thing about being out there for this and looking so bad...if the Friedkins have any pride, they will want to improve this! Imagine the scene at the Friedkin Houston ranch:
"Hey neighbors, you guys wanna come over and watch my new toy? I bought ANOTHER soccer team- this one will be da shizzle! Come on over, I got popcorn, pretzels and Bud light...it's gonna be AWESOME!"
In all seriousness with every defeat and poor performance the pressure to get players in is put more and more on the toes of TFG.

Your new ground and bright new era counts for nothing if your in another relegation battle.

Can’t paper over the cracks now. This is a poor squad, with no speed, minimal attacking ability and two strikers who are at best ‘raw’…not even including Chermiti!
