I will say with what's going on with the striker market, getting Barry early and for the price we did seems extremely extremely good already. We'll see in a year or two but we may well look back on that as a great bit of business for this summer

I think so too. Barry and Sesko are the same height, similar age, and are a similar profile yet ones going to cost 3x more than the other. Doesn't really make sense to me. It's not like Sesko is wildly outscoring him either.

It’s just common sense surely? They know we’re not going to go through a season with 16/17 players or whatever we’ve got so there will clearly be new players coming in soon, it’s not evidence of anything it’s just a really obvious truth.

Ideally we get a bit of luck on a couple of the exciting ones we’re chasing but whatever happens I’m sure there’ll be more players in by end of window.

Moyes is annoyed because we haven't gotten a winger or a centre mid or two in, quite clearly they would have been his massively clear priorities heading into this summer

The club can change the internal canabilism amongst staff, players and fans by getting on with recruitment.

Fluffy warm PR videos on a weekend from the club doesn't intrest anyone.

Just get on with it, do the work...announce it.

If it cant be done, move on to the next.

In retrospect Kinnear’s interview at the weekend has annoyed me a bit, was expecting a flurry of activity after that but instead it’s been more of the same bar a backup left back.
