It was always going to be difficult to go from buying ok/mediocre players to very good players. Maybe, we are trying to make the jump too quickly and instead we should have signed players who were marginally better than what we have now but would have still pushed us up the league. We could be heading into yet another very tough season in our new stadium which is a sickening thought.
