New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Silly move for the club to put those blue bricks for statues.

Was always going to end up with angry older men telling us to put their heroes there.

Let the new generation see a new era of heroes?

Rightly or wrongly, many have bemoaned the lack of Everton identity in and around the new stadium. Dixie Dean and the Holy Trinity are this club's immortals (there may be a few others who could merit a place, but they certainly do).... they don't just represent a single era, they represent our History and identity, and will be worthy of their place regardless of whatever the future brings. As regards duplication of statues, I don't see any problem. The art form lends itself to it, which is why many great statues have been reproduced multiple times for different locations. The thing is, how many clubs have 2 stadiums which merit it? The new ones could perhaps be of a different scale to befit the different setting. Failing that, commission entirely new ones. Of course the danger then, is that the new depictions might not match the quality or capture the essence of their subject(s), in the way those already created have (there have been some absolute howlers on that score). Hence the reason why a basic recast is the normal and safest approach, and indeed a further celebration of the sculptor's original work.

I think there'll be plenty, I used to walk to goodison and back from lime street (and to/from the station at my end, BMD isnt as far from lime street and there are pubs on the way to pit stop, before new ones pop up.

It'll be grand

I walk a lot mate and it's a decent trek. I suppose it's all about settling into new routines but if there are a lack of transport options people aren't going to buy individual tickets for games on a cold winter night.

Someone might need to check the capacity again just received the below

And there it is... digital season ticket via apple or Google wallet will allow access to stadium only. No screenshots of the ST.
NFC tech.

But you can apply for physical card via link in email

The issue with the download of tickets is an API exception, basically too many people at once. Its a Google API limitation as well, nothing to do with the club.
But still you would hope they've the money to employ testers and basic tools to load test large volume deliverables to production, Or maybe the software house they have a contract with needs to be looked at.

The answer I got was a couple of people in the office have tried and it worked for them, so try later when volume's go down.
Er well if no-one is getting on now, everyone will try later, then repeat.
Same shambles from Everton.
Maybe I'll use this as the exception to apply for physical card 😂
