Our golden periods were the 60s and 80s. Nothing will come close to that likely in any of our lifetimes on here.

There is a 'legends' match against Roma—look at the absolute state of the players that are taking part.

We don’t do “spawn” here mate,the other lot make sure there is not a jot of it left on Merseyside for anyone else😉😂
 
Silly move for the club to put those blue bricks for statues.

Was always going to end up with angry older men telling us to put their heroes there.

Let the new generation see a new era of heroes?

Again not to harp on about the Tottenham stadium, but WiFi was available outside and inside the ground for free and actually worked! Could send texts and pictures no problem. I’ve read we have installed a similar if not better system that will be available for all prem games

No. If the card is on your phone it won't need internet connection. Same as Apple or google pay.
 
Did the walk from town for a 2nd time today and I honestly doubt there'll be many doing that there and back on a regular basis. I really hope the club and council spend this year doing everything they can to sort out the transport issues that arise because once the novelty of the new stadium wears off I think our attendances will take a considerable hit.

I think there'll be plenty, I used to walk to goodison and back from lime street (and to/from the station at my end, BMD isnt as far from lime street and there are pubs on the way to pit stop, before new ones pop up.

It'll be grand

This is the only statue that deserves to adorn our magnificent new stadium!!
