I'm not concerned tbh, but I think getting 9-10 players in one window is a stretch - probably do it over 2/3 windows.

Think we all wanted to go into this new season, Dicky Hill Dome an all, with an exciting new squad ready to mount a serious European challenge.

Might take a bit longer to get everything we need, but we'll get there.
me neither mate. I have no doubt we could have easily signed more already but if they’re doing it slower to bring in players that are going to improve us, have big potential and more importantly ones we will make profit on when sold them im all for it. Mass buying with no future plans is what lead us to the awful last few years.

You’ve definitely swallowed an ambitious pill. Forest will never be a bigger draw

We’d all agree with that FWIW, particularly now you’ve got such a great stage to play on. My guess is he ends up at Everton.

Only way Forest get him is if they pay a lot more. We do seem a bit obsessed with him to be fair, and occasionally Forest go really big on a player to get him (Milenkovic, and now MGW)

Apparently Angus Kinnear has flown back to the UK from the tour.

Done what he needs to have done as CEO in the time he has been there I expect. He is still relatively new to the role, so there must be other things he wants to be working on back here - or, of course, he may just be going on holiday with his family like other human beings sometimes do in the summer!!

Still don’t excite me.

Kanchelskis… now he was someone who excited me. I still can’t believe we managed to sign one of Utd best players at the time. He was dynamite.

The equivalent of a Kanchelskis type signing now would be virtually impossible for us. Lukaku joining us was probably the closest since and that was when we were European regulars. There’s just no universe now where one of the best wingers in the league with good goal and assist numbers playing for a CL team decides to come and join bottom half Everton in their prime.
