It’s because you read “imminent” from twenty seven different accounts, all drawing from the one source and eachother.

Right, it's reported it's imminent, reported he's travelled/travelling to the USA several days ago, allegedly he's there, medical and everything passed, is a genuinely cheap young players, all we'd need is to announce him and then, you know, play him in the friendlies - but we've not done that last part and will start the season with the same players as these won't be ready.

Yeah, nah, this is on the club 100% if the rest is all done (which it allegedly and reportedly is). Praise where it's due for Travers, but the rest has been utterly predictable and painfully slow. Even more so as we're dilly-dallying with pointless media, which can be released after the announcement, just like other teams do.

We genuinely need about 4 more players too, so they'll be around deadline day, if at all, as we've not changed the pace.

Happy we're getting young up-and-coming players, as we should, but we're doing it the Kenwright Everton way for some reason.

If he has signed we can play him regardless of the announcement or social media stuff. Thats all irrelevant.

I think you misunderstand my point.

If a load of news aggregating accounts decide on their own a initiative to announce we’ve signed him or things are imminent, when in fact things aren’t as far along as they claim, that is not the fault of Everton Football Club.
