Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Approx £30m gets McAtee - he would be keen to join us according to reports but it’s whether we stump up the cash to get him.

Forest being in Europe might be a bigger draw ..

So what can change then if thats as things stand?

Is this your opinion or are you stating a fact?

Also as with regards to kubo. I hate it when teams get player with 50% sell on and wont sell them because of the 50% sell on or demand some crazy price for them.

The whole reason they got him that cheap to begin with is the 50% sell on. Then when it come to sell him, all of a sudden they want his release clause.
I’ve heard on the Bullens View podcast the info and it’s been confirmed by various Spanish publications too about his release clause & RM sellon. Sociedad are tough negotiators and most players they sell go for their asking price or the release clause Isak, Merino, Zubimendi, Griezmann etc

I don't follow transfers speculation that much, would drive me mad.

But don't we need right winger, centre mid, right back in that order (we don't have right hand side, as it stands).

I've never seen kid from Lyon, but why are we chasing left winger?

Douglas Luiz wants to join but Everton now haggling over the terms with his current club.

Jesus Christ, you couldn’t make this up.

We make it so torturously hard. No wonder we are struggling to get deals done.

It’s all very well playing hard ball but when you are desperate for numbers you can’t really do that.
You did make it up didn't you?
Or did Kinnear or Hammond call you personally

Then we have 24 hrs to get some positive momentum into the process or get busy PR managing back page headlines about match results and the effect on incoming transfers.
The results of these friendlies really don’t register in the outside world, there is no impending PR sinkhole.

I couldn’t even tell you the result of the other US game that followed ours on Saturday night, and I follow a million football related accounts. No one external cares.
