He may well be...You'll probably see him transition into that roll this season.

I also keep seeing people mentioning his wages,he's more than likely on a drastically reduced deal.

I think the Coleman one is more about having him around for stadium transition and having an old head in dressing room due to...not as yet,a high influx of players.

It's kinda of been mooted by Moyes.

We all know Coleman's body isn't up to PL Footy

We also do not know the terms of the deal, which I strongly suspect will be a weekly wage that is a significant reduction on previous.

Coleman will most likely be on a coaches wage now. Despite being registered as a player.

Also he doesn't seem the type to have spunked all his money up the wall on lambo's I reckon he's enough tucked away for money never to be an issue.

There is a big difference between how a fellow player and a coach works with the team. As long as Coleman is a player he's one of the lads. He trains with them, sits with them in the dressing room and when traveling. He is naturally the player to greet new arrivals. Once he is no longer a player there will be a natural barrier between him and the players. And I'm guessing Moyes wanted Coleman specifically in the dressing room for this season.

It’s frustrating for sure but if we get him and it’s a success then it’d be all worth it wouldn’t it ?

Leeds tied up the Longstaff deal fairly quickly but if this one comes off we’ve likely done better despite having a prolonged negotiations .
