Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

1000 minutes in that team. 3 goals. One assist. 20 appearances. Massive???!!!
Good googling that mate

Don't have comparative stats to hand, but I imagine that's about par for a city winger. Mind pulling those out as well?

Either way - go and ask a City fan about Grealish in that season. He was big for them, lot of big performances in big matches, especially in the Champions league

I would be interested to find out what some of our supporters would consider to be a fair deal to sign Grealish on loan.

My view is that we should cover around 60% of his reportedly mammoth £300k/week wages, which would amount to £180k/week being covered by ourselves, with Man City covering the remaining £120k/week. If we were to include an option or obligation to buy in the deal I would expect that to amount to somewhere in the region of £40m, given that Man City will be desperate to re-coup as much of their £100m outlay as possible.

I am not so sure that I would label him as our best player if he were to sign, but he would certainly be one of our better players. Although, I would not hold my breath with this one since wages could prove to be a stumbling block when trying to get this over the line.

Not even close to that 100k max with no obligation to buy at all, not paying 40 mil for a 30 year old

other than city.

if he’s leaving then it’s half n half

but if he leaves on a perm

he’s lowering his wages
Which he won’t do, would you?? I certainly wouldn’t. If I was him I know city want me out however that may come and so I’ll go on loan and see out my contract.

That the problem with paying high wages, we did and suffered from players not being able to move on as nobody would pay high wages for players that aren’t worth it.

I don’t think they will get 40mil for him
Next summer he will have a year left on his deal, I think his value to city will be something like 15, so getting 25 for him would be a bonus
