If City cant get a permanent deal this summer (and they wont) he’ll be loaned out until he has one year left on his deal with a fee and a % of wages.
Grealish plays during a world cup year, City get shot and reduce costs and we get get a player with a pedigree and reputation but has to fit into our wage structure.
It might include an obligation or option, he will have one year left next year, hes prob on about 200k +, but a 4 year deal on 150k a week is worth more then a one year deal on 200k a week.
So its about everyone finding a win, City save costs this year and possibly next, Jack get to play and Everton get a player who once changed hands for 100 mill, with the possibility of keeping longer if he does well.
This is i imagine what is being discussed/negotiated at the moment.
