Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Who in the league would pay his wages, he isn’t taking a pay cut.

I think of you play with Grealish you need to go with three midfield players to cover his lack of defensive application. So 4-3-3 as opposed to 4-2-3-1

Not the end if the world, but you need the squad to carry him.
Moyes has used a 3421 before, albeit not as often, so theoretically Ilman and Grealish could operate as dual 10s. Problem is we would need wingbacks who actually defend and someone in the pivot next to Gana

Guardiola talked about it more than once last season as a factor in his limited playing time the past two seasons. It is pretty much common knowledge.
Was a massive part of their treble winning side so I that's not strictly true

Last season he's obviously been absent from a lot of squads

But I haven't seen Pep call into question his motivation to play or his professionalism in terms of training, being ready for games etc

Who in the league would pay his wages, he isn’t taking a pay cut.

If City cant get a permanent deal this summer (and they wont) he’ll be loaned out until he has one year left on his deal with a fee and a % of wages.

Grealish plays during a world cup year, City get shot and reduce costs and we get get a player with a pedigree and reputation but has to fit into our wage structure.

It might include an obligation or option, he will have one year left next year, hes prob on about 200k +, but a 4 year deal on 150k a week is worth more then a one year deal on 200k a week.

So its about everyone finding a win, City save costs this year and possibly next, Jack get to play and Everton get a player who once changed hands for 100 mill, with the possibility of keeping longer if he does well.

This is i imagine what is being discussed/negotiated at the moment.
