Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

He splits our fanbase that’s for sure. He has definitely improved his game, he went off the boil last season when he had to adjust his game to our new style of play, but then he started to look a level above once he found his feet. His passing is very good, he gets in great positions to block off the passing lanes and made some vital interceptions to close down counter attacks. He has one obvious flaw to his game and that is he gets dispossessed far too much in dangerous positions. If he does that in the premier league, he’ll cost his side goals. We haven’t been able to work it out of him, I just feel like Moyes could do something with him. Moyes isn’t scared about taking on championship players and improving them, he’s done it enough in his management career.
Brothers family are all mad st holders mate so he's seen him a lot - was in the stadium for his debut. His opinion basically agrees with yours on him.

Good luck next season btw, hope you smash the horse punchers at your ground.

I guess, and I'm playing devil's advocate here, he can cover a lot of positions. He's played RB, RW, the right side of midfield and central midfield but he'd be a rather uninspiring signing.
Yeah if it means we can let Patterson and iroegbunam go and replace them with one player it makes sense to some extent. You would hope it would be purely for that type of reason though, if players like him are what we’re bringing in to actually play then our unprecedented rebuild looks very much like a botched job.
Cover in three positions and probably starting at RB at home
I just don’t think he’s good enough to be a starter if we have any intention of actually improving. He’s not actually better than the right backs we’ve been playing recently in all honesty, and he’s absolutely nothing like a Phil Neville type.

Niles absolutely sucked at Arsenal. I am not a fan whatsoever from what I have seen. But if he comes as part of the package with Fofana to kind of get it over the line, I guess you take it. We need the depth, he can cover several positions and he is technically prime age. Maybe he has gotten better during his time in France. Not a fan of the stopgaps and filler, but at this point we need bodies.
