Way back when they started laying the pitch for the first time I remember an interview with the chief groundsman saying they were guessing a bit because the more enclosed stadium, riverside weather, seabirds etc. meant it was different growing conditions than Goodison. They probably went a little cautious on seed density. It is the kind of thing that they will get on top of quickly but it is a reminder that every aspect of a move to a new ground creates fresh challenges.

Probably about right, of course some higher values in there but most GA tickets for the last few games at Goodison were £60, so to have some priced below that shows it isn't a complete raid on supporters.

Will we need an internet connection to be able to get in to the ground? Interested to know if we can just load up our ticket on our Wallet at home or somewhere with a Wifi connection and then when we get to the ground just have that already loaded up on our phone and use the code bit?

As I understand it once the ticket is in your Google /Apple Wallet it is transmitted to the turnstile by NFC ( Near Field Communication ) if your phone is compatible.
No, he was complaining about that one as well but he was definitely referring to the new stadium.

The last game I went to in England was an FA cup game, Spurs v AFC Wimbledon at Wembley in 2018. Ticket was £5. Absolutely no way I would pay £65 to watch a game of football
