Everton Ticketing Changes

Could you see the actual prices when you picked the area mate?

Everything just showing as £1 for me. I was thinking East or West but the article on the site doesn't make clear what the junior prices are in those stands or even if all tickets attract the adult price. Also no idea if they are classing this as Cat A, B or C.

Yeah I bought my season ticket and knew what it was .

Im extremely happy with my seat to be honest just amused about the pricing .

Maybe should have made ANOTHER membership of say £200 to be able choose your own seats. Fans would pay it and club makes more money. £60 for Forever Blue + membership does seem a bit cheap. After all - Players Lamboginis keep going up in price!😄

Bit misleading that pricing announcement...suggests no kids tickets in any stand other than family stand or lower South. Certainly didn't say what the price was in any other stand

And Brighton is category A .. how's that? What is the conditions for each of the three categories
I'm assuming this qualifies as CatA due to it being the opening game rather than the level of opposition

That's how I'm reading it mate, plus under 11s have a price for the North. But everything is £1 when you go to pick the area for the ballot so no way of knowing for sure.

The resale worked the same at Goodison. Had to pay full adult price for a seat regardless of who was sat on it.

Not great in getting any of my kids sat near me if that's the case then.

Getting peed off with Everton now tbh. So attempted to buy a ticket for my son online. But as I've logged into my account to be able to assign a ticket to him, can't even get that far. Im not allowed to purchase any tickets as the system think's im trying to purchase for myself as a ST holder.
Clearly not tested this system.
So before all this nonsense I could assign tickets, now if you login as a ST holder I can't

That's why we didnt pay for the more expensive family Blue+ memberships. Lots of unrest / moans around stadium for maybe first 6 home matches with seating allocation / travel problems after games. Can always upgrade later without the starting stress.

I get that the not being able to choose your seat is different to last year and for many that is rubbish.

And I may be about to chat wham but ….

My impression is that the lottery system is the same as last year but less pressurised and easier to take part in. I am a STH so wasn’t involved but my reading of the situation was, people phoned up and were allocated a random position in a queue, (I think there was lots of moaning about this in the threads last year). They then got to the front and could buy a ticket based on this random allocation of a position in a queue or they were sold out. The lottery being suggested is still just the random allocation of people in a queue. You just get a longer window to join the queue.

If I am wrong about what happened in the old system then ignore this post!

i guess loads were committed to going down the ground, getting on phones, being online at that time to get a ticket

before moyes came in if you got in the queue for 10 you got a ticket

that changed with the factors of moyes return, finite amount of games left at goodison and with increased tout activity . but that it would to back t normal after first couple of huge in demand games at bMd

i was hoping it would go back to a bit of a frenzy but still if you’re on the ball at 10 you get a ticket

know i feel like everyone will just apply to every game and its going to be something like a 1 in 10 chance of getting a ticket

and you can’t even choose a seat

Applying for the ballot seemed simple enough.
My only concern is having to nominate 2 areas of the ground i.e. a 1st choice and a 2nd choice. Buying for me and my Grandson, and under the old system I would just click 2 seats together in ANY area.
I have nominated 2 areas but was wondering what happens if they are no seats available in either of those areas? Would prefer it if there was an option for 'any area' 🤷‍♂️

After you've chosen your two favoured areas there's a box underneath to tick if you don't want to be considered for seats in other areas of the ground.
