I'd rather he played LB. The more I see of Ndiaye, the more I think that his best position is the same as where Eze plays for Palace. He lines up on the left but he's more like a left sided CAM. Having someone like Aznou who looks like can operate as a wingback rather than a fullback would get the best out of both of them I reckon.

Moyes did similar with Coleman at first playing him as a winger before moving him back. Wouldn’t be surprised if we saw the same with Patterson if injuries bite out wide.

even though moyes is pragmatic he likes his full backs to attack, he built some good everton sides using Baines as the instigator of many moves forward

this kid is meant to be the real deal so i doubt hes coming to play second fiddle to an average player

moyes identified in january that he wanted improvements at left back but postponed a move for one when he pretty much guaranteed safety after the leicester win

aznou might not start against leeds, but i think he’ll be first choice come the end of the season

He was poached by Bayern from the Barca academy before his first contract.
He had a buyout.
He pushed for a move.
He's already a capped international for a very good Moroccan side.

It's a first option mate, which ultimately is the easiest thing in the world for a club to give as an inducement as it means f all to us as it's simply mean Bayern pay us the same fee that we'd agreed to sell him to someone else already for.
