Moyes interview with The Athletic on Friday

Just listened to that Angus Kinnear interview on EvertonTV- made some pretty big promises about the rest of the window.

On that basis I’m expecting news of more bids in the next few days and Plan Bs to be approached if Fofana, Luiz & Kubo etc ain’t happening.

Have a good Monday Bluenoses UTFT
Can you please send a link?

Don't think actually there's any interest in Fellows mate, I think that was a Thelwell want
Yeah maybe whoever we want as second Right winger I assume they're cheaper than your Kubo's and fofana's. To me that means they're probably at a lower team than us or one we have more leverage over so I don't understand why we don't just go get them whilst we haggle over other targets.

The atm part is crucial. Feel a lot of who we are after have been linked in the orbit of the sky 6 and until it becomes evident they aren't getting the call from them this season we are pretty much in a holding pattern a bit.

I'm sure the likes of Forfana is hoping the rs come in for him once Diaz goes, if they go for the lad from real though then maybe he reconsiders. Same with Luiz who obviously must hope a spurs or villa return happens, if spurs or villa go and get a new cm then Luiz re-evaluates his options etc.

Not what we want to hear but the reality of the game is if we are going after players in the orbit of interest of CL teams in the premier or knocking on the door of it, then we either settle for quicker deals for weaker players - or we play the waiting game somewhat.

Make no mistake, we've been this way for twenty years or more now, just Moyes actually said it out loud. Moshiri settled for names over ability, paid over the odds and got in by and large overpaid dross. Moyes clearly doesn't want us to be the last retirement payday option for guys.

If we took the easy option then yeah we could conclude deals quicker, but ultimately would be settling for being in that 8-14th pack long term, doing it this way gives us the option if it works out to push a younger squad through that glass ceiling
