Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Theres more evidence hes intrested in us then not.

But you're just choosing to listen to one random journalist (whos proven to get alot wrong). Over the many other reliable journalists who are saying were in the process of sorting a deal out and are talking to his camp.
Believe what you want none of those sources reported his response just that we're interested and were speaking to the club and him. ANY club can do that, talk all you want.

We've **** all chance of getting him and I'm happy to be vaulted on it.

I think your wrong

Explain why we no chance? No one else has except Forest had bid for him and despite one random Journo says he wants CL so does every player

A lot of the angst around this window is due to lack of evidence of the new transfer teams competence., and Evertonians tending to skew to the pessimistic. It appears beneath the diplomatic facade the manager is getting a bit tetchy and all.

You'd think to control the narrative a bit and take some pressure off they'd go get some low hanging fruit.

For example if Tom Fellows is right winger number 2 and an easier deal go get him whilst your being patient on the more tricky targets

I mean we could debate till the cows come home the merits of differing journos most of them have an agenda.

Tbh you've kind of answered your question aswell I think he wants CL so that puts us out and I think if he's patient enough he'll get it.

It's just my opinion btw, not fact, no one in here has that knowledge.

It just whiffs to me of us being strung along and I don't think we can't afford to mess about.

Moyes doesn't seem to want Fellows.

The issue seems to be the players below their "Tier 1" options. I imagine they've received quite a lot of rejections.

So what about alternatives? I presume they have them, and now is the time to start going after them.

If they don't have alternatives then we're in trouble. There must be enough players that are available, willing, affordable, and that would improve us. They're not going to have the profile of a Luiz or Fofana, but they'll still be good enough and improve us.

It's time to see the committees homework and what they can produce.
