In a normal world Lyon would not be selling him, would hold on and let his value appreciate and they’d hope he’d be sold to a CL club. But he’s at least 1-2 years from that which is where we might be able to come in.

I don't know if I believe a ton of clubs are interested in that price. Take liverpool, it's not really their MO to take on young, relatively unproven players at fees like that.

Also, we know all too well as Everton fans that 'interest' doesn't mean a bid will follow. He supposedly turned down Forest a month ago because he wanted CL football and nothing has happened until we put a bid in this weekend.
