Saw the word "Delinquent" mentioned in another thread & reminded me that when I was a child if I was naughty my mum would warn me to be careful or I would become a "Juvenile Delinquent".
I was terrified.
Never hear that term these days.

Since the NHS stopped removal of wax from your ears, I've been using a practice that's sprung up catering for this process. Costs me £50 for them both. I've had a free hearing test whilst there and baulked at the cost of hearing aids. I sort of know the receptionist and when I was paying for my wax removal she confirmed that the NHS aids are just as effective.

I was also told this by a nurse, the adverts for the expensive ones are just a con for people who are loaded.

Think back in the day the private one's were smaller and more compact than those large MHS ones but nowadays there not much difference
