Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

IMO Iroebugnam, Armstrong and Chermiti should go out on loan and get regular minutes. I still think there is a good player in Chermiti and if he could get a loan like Branthwaite had he might show that.

Obviously the other side of that is we need to sign 7/8 good players....

RB Starting Quality, 2 if Patterson goes which he should IMO
LB Starting Quality
2 x CM Starting Quality (Gana goes to AFCON)
LW Starting Quality
2 RW 1 Starting Quality

Maybe Brands will take all 3 (if Dutch clubs are able to)

They effed up coz uncle Uzman got swiped - completely derailed everything
They were messing up way before that .
Poor strategy from the outset .
I think Alan Sugar once commented that running a football club bares little relation to running a business.
Their record at Roma to date is rather uneven and certainly their fans have had some complaints.
I will retain my scepticism and judge them by what they achieve as opposed to what they may achieve.

I could imagine Everton have a decent story to tell Fofana. Look at Mirallas Fellaini Lukaku Onana who all came to Everton and earned starting positions in the Belgian 11 whilst here for world cups and euros. Maybe he can see a pathway that comes from regular starting football on display in the PL than being on the bench in a CL club in la Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga
Good point tbf. 3 of them got pretty big moves straight from Everton, and Mirallas probably reached his ceiling with us.

Incredibly Belgian-friendly club.

Never heard of him but 238k followers makes me think he is more reliable than Ross or Alan
Looking through this fellas tweets, there’s an awful lot of quote tweets on those with the 🔜 , where he’s then linked the official announcement of the signing a couple of days later..

Can’t be arsed enough to try and find a failed tweet / miss though!

Isn’t this lad a left sided winger? - of which we have 2 already! Maybe we’ll play him on the right or move Ndiaye / McNeil
