Yeah in part I want us to agree to a fee just to gauge the players decision, if he accepts then it's be a massive sign about just what kind of project we are selling to the players etc. accepts it bodes very well.

Personally I’d rather know he definitely wants to come before we even engage about a fee like most other clubs do.

Hard to judge as we are just going off rumours albeit from decent sources, at least we are talking to his camp, the hope is we are just crossing t's and dotting it's, rather than it being hey we're Everton we just got a bid accepted do you like us.

Yeah I'd be very surprised if he arrived as he's one of those names in the Chelsea/Bayern/Napoli type links.

I suspect Moyes frustration and being open about needing players in now stems more maybe from the club having sounded out of even verbal agree ebts with agents or players camps but being slow on offers or being stubborn over prices.

That's just my gut feeling I er it tbh not really based upon anything more than Moyes seeming a bit annoyed like he knows deals are there for players he wants if we stump up fees

Let them meet the price then. We should be trying to save money on all our deals like we did with Barry. You don’t just give the selling club everything they want.
