As a northerner I should be rooting for Donegal, as someone who spends time in and around Malin I should be rooting for Donegal and as someone who used to meet Jim Mc Guinness regularly when he used to visit Castlewellan in County Down to meet up with his collage mate I should definitely be rooting for Donegal but there is something about Kerry in an All Ireland final.

Saw a piece online yesterday, tomorrow's final (and both semis) are being/were broadcast in French on a French sports channel.

Gaelic football is one of the fastest growing sports in France with 2 championships, 1 in the Normandy area and another covering the rest of France.

As an ulster man who spent many a holiday in Donegal I wanted them to win. But it looks like game over already. Kerry aren’t going to allow Murphy the 2 pointers that Donegal need in the second half.
