Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Nah, you only have to look at the scope of improvement from Jan to May, standards implemented and culture developed and results achieved. The team that took on Newcastle in May were unrecognisable to the team in Dec.

There is literally nothing we can criticise him for objectively.

He’s gotten bolder in my opinion, he called the owners out on the pitch on the last day at Goodison and did it again last night, calling for 9.

Gauntlets flying around the place.
Indeed...he is the one that talked about at the beginning of competing for elite players, he put pressure on the board in January expecting at least a couple of additions and clearly show disappointment afterwards on our dealings in January. Moyes is not the problem.

We don’t even need 9. Yes we need a handful of players without question, but 9 is overkill.

Two monetary permanent signings and fill four loan spots would be my guess. If the two permanent signings are of sufficient quality at right wing and central midfield, and the remaining players are loans for squad depth then I’d be happy with that.
We need 9...right back, backup left back, 2 cms players (to replace mangala and doucs), one right wingers (potentially/ideally 2), another striker (he is not convinced by chermiti), another keeper (we need 3 first team options for the season) and possibly another versatile attacking midfielder.

You have absolutely no idea as to what extent Moyes’ involvement in transfers is. Just like the rest of us. You’re simply guessing.

He loves it doesnt he.

Literally all of his posts contradict themselves.

If anyone gives a opinion he claims its stated as fact and demands proof. Then claims his opinions are facts.

Still want this lad.

How many of those play at a level similar to the Premier League? Would their stats be the same in this league?
I'm not a lover of football stats but my questions are with good intention - I'm interested to see what the skew would be if compared to a player-pool of the same level.

One friendly left after they return from the US. Moyes says he wants a handful of new signings — bravo to the club for allowing new players ample time to settle into their new team and get to know their team mates.

Probably best to restrict O'Brien, Barry, Gueye, Pickford and Ndiaye to 45 minutes in these friendlies because we literally cannot afford any injuries.
