Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hi folks. I hope ypu are all OK. Charlotte and d I had a lovely time in Liverpool and Frankie loved meeting his extended family! He was so good.
In other news Civil Service Pensions are on strike so I might not get my partial retirement payment on 1 August. Apparently they are being taken over by Capita and the strike is about Union recognition. I genuinely cannot understand it - the only people being inconvenienced by the action are other Civil Servants and therefore fellow Union members. The Government won't be slightly bothered by the strike.
Anyway enough of that. I I tend to hit the gym tomorrow. Between Mr F being in hospital, going back to work and Granny duties Ive been neglecting it. Tine to get back to it!

It’s a lovely evening here, been sitting in the garden watching dragonflies catching flying ants. I even managed to capture one on camera.

Great photo. I don’t remember seeing a Dragonfly as a kid but they seem so much more common now.

On the insect note, I believe Mosquitoes find me the tastiest human alive 🤦🏼‍♂️

Evening chums.

Just back from a balmy night in Southport and the seagulls were in full voice.

A nice Chinese and a trip to the Atkinson to watch a Fleetwood Mac tribute band and they were genuinely very good.

They even dedicated the final song to Evertonians ....yep "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow, yesterday's gone " , well I made that bit up by the sentiment remains good.

Things must surely be better than under Moshiri even if it all feels a bit underwhelming at the moment. Of course made all the worse by the RS spending money like a drunken sailor on shore leave.

The guy sat next to be at the gig was scrolling on his phone in the interval and his wife asked him what he was doing , he replied " checking to see if we've signed Isak" . And I was enjoying the evening up until then.

Good night everyone, and try to get some kip Pete.
