We would have been in serious danger if we had lads from the academy getting the minutes Harrison, Mangala, Broja and Lindstrom got.

...and how do you gauge that mate with a complete lack of any substantially 'positive' stats both on the offensive and defensive side of their games?

Besides - Mangala, Broja & Lindstrom all suffered lengthy injury absences and the less said about Harrison's 'contribution' last season the better...

Can’t be many whose 3rd, 4th and 5th choice have started like 3 Prem games between them.

Also Alcaraz is needed at 10 given we don’t have anyone else there.

Well our 3rd choice is Iroegbunam and our 4th choice is Harrison Armstrong. I’ll give you the rest of the day to make a list of teams that have better 3rd and 4th choices, you’ll need it.

Besides - Mangala, Broja & Lindstrom all suffered lengthy injury absences and the less said about Harrison's 'contribution' last season the better...

Because if you replaced them with players from the academy the drop off would have been dramatic in terms of losing the ball, losing duels, knowing where to be on and off the ball, general fitness and strength of a premier league player.

Tell me, who from our academy do you see being able to compete in the premier league?
