Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I still expect them to recruit and replace very well. They always have good players lined up. Personally don't see them going down.
You may be right, however I think Frank and his backroom will have played a big part in that. It has a feeling of the soul being ripped out of the club.

Nørgaard was their captain, after Toney, and their manager has gone too all in the same window, so it's a big loss in the dressing room.

So maybe the solution is to block everyone who responds to him? Or what do you suggest when the thread is chock full of people responding to him? I have him blocked but it doesn't really help.
technical soltution, if the boss CBA: option to block a person AND any replies to them - would make some threads pretty sparse at times tho

Has anybody checked on Davek this morning

I am sure we will be fine (ish) by the end of August...but the issue is as always we basically throw points away because we haven't got our squad in place for start of the season. Moyes has history with us as well in the past of going into the season undercooked and scrambling around to get new players up to speed.

It's clear though that the transfer system is so heavily weighted to the big boys more than ever- I am sure there are several premier league clubs for example just holding on for a sniff of getting Grealish on loan, or one of the many many Chelsea outcasts that would improve teams.

In all honesty it's been a pretty uninspiring window all round - can't say we have missed out on players I really wanted. If anything I am a bit more surprised we didn't dip into the free transfer market for a brownhill etc, but maybe hoping that we are aiming higher in those positions. You would like to think that we will have a few in ahead of the Roma game. From a positive point of view we do have a solid premier league first 11 with virtually no new signings - if you add some real quality like Kubo/Douglas Luiz etc into that then we could be in for a decent stab at the top half/conference league positions which is a huge improvement on the last 5 years.

….can see the Kubo links ramping up after this weekend, it’s a rumour that hasn’t gone away, a bit like the Barry transfer. If they don’t, I reckon we can draw a line under it.
Feel like there’s got to be something in it you know. Considering the amount of Japanese players they’ve signed for the women’s team and their links with Toyota it does seem that it might be part of TFG’s strategy to raise our profile in the Far East.

Maybe we should blue heart 💙 all his posts, I dont think he could cope with all that positivity. It might just work 🤔
