Issac absent from pre season tour and wants out.
On the one hand I find this hilarious, The Richest Club In the Worldcan’t keep hold of their best players, and the self important horse punchers are getting a reality check on their true status in the pecking order.
Then I’m horrified at what they might do with the money they’ll be making from the sale.
Then the scenario reminds me just how bent the football world is in ensuring no one can challenge the status quo other than in exceptional circumstances (Leicester)

If it wasn't for PSR these would be spending £500m a summer. Is that more better for the game than PSR?

Difference is that if ‘smaller’ clubs got rich benefactors like Blackburn and to some extend Newcastle under Shepard & the other fella, they weren’t restricted from spending as they are now.Hasn't this always been the case, though?
The bigger clubs spend a lot more than the smaller clubs?
Do feel people go on like football was a lot more competitive before PSR.

Beg to differ, but there’s a PSR thread for all that anywayWhich is a good thing.
Issue is the rules should have been put in 20 years ago.
We were one of the top five clubs who created the Premier League for greed.
Always seems to be forgotten.
Only reason we aren't a part of the stinky six is because we messed it up.
