I’m still struggling to understand why non Evertonians and Sunderland fans hate him so much. It’s so weird . He’s England’s best keeper since Banks . If you don’t trust your eyes , trust the stats .
I get why the RS hate as he nearly made VVD an angel but the rest of the country do too . He’s a bit prickly I admit but that’s only when he sees a Liver bird or barcodes and he’s not a head case . Weird

Plenty here wanted Pickford excuted because he dare stand up to VVD.

Pickford has already demonstrated that he can survive a witch-hunt after the media frenzy for "Virgil". Then there was him bouncing back after the Courtois comment + aftermath.

That said, we can't shy away from the fact that Trafford to City presents a genuine threat to his England place now. He'll know it himself deep down. I know some might say, "who cares about England?", but it's important to remember how important his number 1 spot for England is on a sporting/professional level.

I'm just hoping he goes out there again next season and keeps delivering.
