We've done that sort of fee twice in the last 8 years for Gylfi and Richy. It would seem oo hot a deal for us with the wages on top but 40m is the new 20m from just a few years ago. Your 30m deals the 10m to 15m with that lower bracket now being emerging top talent from the championship. Crazy money yes but not when PL top 6 are doing double those 30m to 40m number deals and again and again. The world's gone mad hasn't it?

40m imo was worth paying for richy and siggy. wat got us into trouble was splashing 25-30m on a truckload of crap underperformers. if we can get the luiz pre injury and pre juve then 40m is well spent in this day and age of 70-100m elite players
