Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I'd probably take El Khannous over McAtee anytime. McAtee is ofc home grown, which is a big plus, but El Khannous is the better player I'd say. Have tbh though, seen al lot more of El Khannous than I did of McAtee.

Would see McAtee as more of an attacking midfielder than a winger. El Khannous I've seen plenty of times at Genk. He always stood out as a very special talent. Not really followed him at Leicester, but that boy has bags of talent and potential.

At that sort of money, they should go and sign Akliouche from Monaco. He's better than El Khannous.

El Khannous is good, don't get me wrong.

Akliouche is an £80m player in waiting. He's a serious talent someone will get him for £20m/£25m this summer and he'll be a star. Exactly what we need on the right too.

El Khannouss seems to have a relegation release clause of £22.5mil.

Left: Ndiaye / McNeil
Centre: Alcaraz / El Khannouss
Right:

Snag is no one is any good on the right :(

The rumours that we are only expecting to sign one or two more players this window are very concerning.

We needed at least another three or four.
Whatever his flaws David Moyes is a professional, thorough and highly demanding man.

He is not looking at the current squad and saying “yeah, just a couple more in and that’ll do for me”

The sluggishness of our business will be far more a product of his unwillingness to accept mediocrity than his willingness to do so.

Blind predictions for fun, based on nothing:

Igamane links are real and he will sign.
Chermiti will be loaned out.
Kubo will sign.
McAtee will sign.
Luis will be loaned with option.
Lino will sign.
Anzou will be loaned with option.
We will not get a new starting RB, because Ebepton…
We will sign a CB and OBrien will stay primarily RB.
I know that you have only made a prediction, but I would be happy with the window which you have described. Although we would not have a permanent solution to the right-back problem, we would be signing Aznou who has covered right-back previously.
