Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Always make me laugh when some football fans get over-excited, or totally deflated, at their team's pre-season games.
I'm just happy that..

a) we'll be making some decent bank from this states trip, and..

b) we're coming up against Prem oppo for once - what better way to prepare for a new season for the division we'll actually be playing in?

I think there should be a study done on this thread on the age demographic and how that reflects on their levels of fume or lack of .
@chicoazul seen as you haven't a job maybe something you could look at.
Hello friends, as I’m available to hire let me showcase my work:

The Unconcerned clique have the upper hand at the moment but it’s three weeks until we can register for the first game. With a depleted squad all it will take is adverse results in the US taking us to within range of the weekend before the season starts before the shift of Unconcerned moves to Concerned.

The blues who are anxious now have been anxious in previous seasons and to be fair to them they were proven right in most considering the four last seasons we’ve just endured.

Now we have new owners, senior leadership team, money, a new stadium and decent manager you’d hope to see a new Everton making a case competency which would be moving to secure very clear targets to take away the risk of both quality and quantity of personnel in the squad. Give it 7-10 days without a couple of additions and it will start to get awry in the wider fanbase.

I’m guessing the media PR tour of the US they’re about to embark on you’ll have more communication from Moyes on where the club are up to in recruitment, which will in turn fill the void that anxiety is creeping into now amongst some fans.

That will be £1.84 please.

The long posts with 10+ likes explaining why it's silly to worry/panic aren't working anymore. I am concerned at this point. So much work needs to be done and I think we'll now be forced to cut some corners on a few underwhelming signings that aren't high on the list of targets.
You know the club aren't putting those out.

Have you found the posts bemoaning our lack of activity hastening any signings?

Hopefully yes but we should be mindful of one or two downsides:

- Injury risk to key players - playing in oppressive heat on hard pitches with a tiny squad
- Likely that we will lose all 3 games - not the best optics for our USA fans, new owners or prospective sponsors

However……..on the flip-side, 3 defeats could spur TFG into action and we might sign some players.
