I as a man of 50 only found out that the anaesthetic gel they can put on before using their sonic scraper really does work wonders. I won't be having any cleans and scaling done without it now.

But I do not make eye contact with them while they do it. Not looking to spark up a convo with them.
 

My dentist is from dubai..and has decided he no longer doing NHS, he's now concentrating on implants (turkey teeth).
The hunt is on for another NHS.
My previous dentist was from the Faroes,his name was Mr Faroe..he went back home.
My dentist in Liverpool was on Queens Drive him and his wife were the most evil people I've met...they probably weren't, but that gas 😳
 

I find the arm rests rather awkwardly placed as they tend to lead to back of hand to groin contact if you’re not careful.
That said I guess the placement could useful for a ‘we’re no going to hurt each other’ type engagement when getting a filling etc.
As for eye contact, my dentist has a TV to watch when your laying back so have something else to look at.
