Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

There doesn't seem to be any credible links apart from the Bayern lad.

I don't buy they can't do signings whilst in the US, why would that be so? Plenty of players join a new club on tour and have their medicals even.

There seems to be a need for fresh impetus. Gasperini at Roma said at the weekend he was concerned they were behind and they seem to have got going since.

He is new in the job, and would have been aware of how those remarks would be interpreted. It was gentle criticism. He knew what he was saying, and his audience.

There is still time, there could be multiple signings in a single day. For all the talk of Moyes being in charge, is he able for this task? Theres a reason clubs split roles into manager and DoF and we don't have that now. Is everyone aligned?

It's really for Kinnear to be providing the impetus and leadership here, and they have to be agile enough to change their strategy if it's seen to be not working.

People will not have the stomach for excuses if that's what they need to churn out in a few weeks.

One things for certain is it doesn’t paint Kinnear in a good light whatsoever considering this newfangled recruitment setup is all his idea. I can imagine he’s keen to get a few more in sharpish so he’s not left red faced just a couple of months into a new role.

There is no reason why we can’t sign players while in the US, but I would bet every penny I own that we won’t.

I'm guessing we're not quite the pull we all thought we were. Players are probably waiting for Chelsea to come sniffing first.
Can I ask, How in the hell are they just allowed to buy who they want, Psr not an issue for them ??
If I was a player I would want to play, game time should be the most important reason to change clubs surely, Yet it appears the modern player is happy just to sit on a bench (if chosen) while still earning a fortune.

Personally think we will see 2-3 deals happening within a few days of each other and relatively soon also.

Think we are in negotiations on fees in certain cases now, yeah no media stuff really around about these but just a gut instinct.

Luiz, Mcatee, Kubo, lid from Bayern. And probably a couple the media haven't even had a sniff about.

Don't think much is leaking out the club now

In other words, what you hope will happen.
