Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What is this narrative?

Theres no embargo, there's no ban on phones, computers and im sure those who are making the offers dont all have to travel.

You're not the only one to have said it, i just dont get why the first team playing games a 5 hour flight away stops Angus Kinnear or whoever making a call for a player.
Exactly and I'm sure our American owners would be only delighted to announce a big signing on American soil!
Yes clinging to Hope 😅

well my assumption is that Moyes plays a vital role in the process of us signing a player. Don't think that he will want to shift his focus towards the transfers while managing the team in what are our only proper friendlies.
Surely he has told them already who he wants or doesnt want.
Different of course if an unexpected opportunity arises but key targets surely thats the case.

He still played 20 games And is 30 and spent virtually alll his career in the lower leagues. The fact he joined a team favourites for the drop last summer , surely tells you something
Doesn't really. Not saying that Ipswich would have necessarily stayed up, but loosing him and ogbene was a huge blow. Looks at his championship stats. Would only be a back up who could cover 4 positions.

I will be extremely surprised if we sign players while in America. It just doesn't usually happen, especially not at Everton.

These matches are going to be extremely difficult to watch. And it's also going to be pretty frustrating seeing significant game time being given to players who won't play any minutes for us this season in the league.

This is not a good pre season. And that leads to bad starts.
Go easy with the red hot positivity you could melt.. It will be OK, this is not the same Everton
