I think McAtee seems to have his heart set on Germany, Douglas Luis I think will come, Kubo and Lino are possibilities at this stage.

I think most of us know that if teams in Europe come in for them it will be a battle, but we have to be in for these players, if they don’t come off I just hope we have 2nd and 3rd choices lined up, we can’t end the window with a smaller squad than we started with.

German clubs are unlikely too pay the reported fee that seems to keep being mentioned. Luis seems to be getting linked with Forest now and tbh I would prefer we didn't cross the palm of Kia Joorabchian with any money. Kubo would be a dream signing, when someone like Xavi says your "World class" you know he is going to be a bit of an upgrade on the Harrisons and Lindstroms of this world. Lino is not someone I'm overly familiar with tbf and I'm sure there are other names on the radar we don't know (The Bayern LB for example)

Hey Harrison might be a possible squad addition at the end of everything which I'm even doubting that but I've seen nothing to suggest that he is a first team target we would of signed him immediately like alacarez if we truly wanted him

I think it was @Neiler that suggested if we got the likes of Doak then Harrison might be part of that plan too.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind though that Harrison would be 1st choice ahead of another though. That would not be ideal at all.

Its definitely not easy but look at the players Newcastle were able to buy when they were in a relegation position during the first Jan window under the takeover and then in the summer they bought Isak despite almost getting relegated. Same with Aston Villa they brought in some decent players despite being in the lower half of the table. Its not futile though. We also finished 15th last year with the same exact squad we currently have minus Doucoure and Ashley Young, and that was dealing with Dyche for half a season so I think your prediction will not be accurate

Not sure about a CF Dave, - Beto doesn't miss games and neither has Barry so far in their careers - reckon any third striker assuming chermiti isn't gonna be it will see very limited playing time. Agree on the rest although do feel we will only bring in one fullback who can play both sides as cover.

We're weak there still.

Chermiti isn't the answer; Barry is an unknown; Beto is a trier.
