Seeing all these names being linked is laughable.... we won`t be signing anyone of note.

Luiz, McAtee, Kubo, Lino aren`t coming to Everton. If these players are available they will be going to bigger clubs or clubs in Europe.

Not really sure how we improve this squad if we can`t sign better. Perhaps another tough season, I don`t think we go down but 12th to 15th IF we can keep everyone fit when NDaiye and Gana go to AFCON for 4-6 weeks.

BBC Gossip saying we are interested in Samuel Lino from Atletico Madrid. I'd be floored if this is correct

There is speculation that we are laying the ground work, for a potential move. The AS are reporting that Lino is 3rd choice in his position so could be surplus to requirements.
He could give us cover in a number of areas, it’s also been mentioned that he is highly durable and cost effective.

Its definitely not easy but look at the players Newcastle were able to buy when they were in a relegation position during the first Jan window under the takeover and then in the summer they bought Isak despite almost getting relegated. Same with Aston Villa they brought in some decent players despite being in the lower half of the table. Its not futile though. We also finished 15th last year with the same exact squad we currently have minus Doucoure and Ashley Young, and that was dealing with Dyche for half a season so I think your prediction will not be accurate

He's as straight edged as they come too apparently. Moyes will love the consistent patterns he has established on the surface.

Any danger of a couple of right wingers, an ale house team that plays on a Sunday morning has more players than us currently.

I've given up, I just go to the last page, more in hope than expectation.

I think most of us know that if teams in Europe come in for them it will be a battle, but we have to be in for these players, if they don’t come off I just hope we have 2nd and 3rd choices lined up, we can’t end the window with a smaller squad than we started with.

For the RW we are probably max 4 options and one is Harrison unless there is a complete random on the list. Although it appears an uphill battle now, the other positions will have more names on the list I expect.

Hey Harrison might be a possible squad addition at the end of everything which I'm even doubting that but I've seen nothing to suggest that he is a first team target we would of signed him immediately like alacarez if we truly wanted him

If we can't sign those kind of players then we have to sign the next in line, the up and coming stars, hadn't done Brighton any harm. Put this all new much vaunted recruitment team to the test and let them earn their big wages.
