Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The only benefit is that Chermiti can actually go play. I'm all for alternatives to that. But Chermiti needs to actually get games one way or another, and that won't happen as third choice at Everton, barring injuries to Beto and Barry.
He gets to play if we bring in a young kid to play his role the last couple of years and send Chermiti out on loan as I said. At least there might be some long term benefit, instead of signing Antonio

How dare you suggest that this deal is "uncomplicated".

A £6mil fee which could have been triggered on July 1st doesnt sound uncomplicated to me.

Moyes first needs to wait until August so posters can say...

...thats why we waited.

That sounds uncomplicated.
Kev would have deffo got it done by June... Straight forward. Followed his nose fot talent.

What would you have done?

…in his first spell here he was the most avid watcher of football matches I can ever remember from a manager. You’d be watching some vague lower league game on telly and there he’d be in the stand watching. No idea if that’s still the case, probably not.

When he was out of work I know for certain he was going a lot of cities under 21 games in person.

My post was more about the fanbase than the club.

We think we have this super demanding fanbase but it’s just not true really. I realised that the day Kenwright was clapped on the big screen.

We clap grinding out a point with the 2 biggest exponents of anti-football of the modern era, and we convince ourselves dreadful transfer windows have actually been quite good. (Not this one)

At least let people spill their frustration out on a forum. It’s what it’s for.
Honestly mate i cant even fault a single fan for doing any of the above. I seen something a while back that basically Said we are officially the most boring club to support in regards to any type of success or failures. Only football league team to have won no trophies, no promotions, no relegations in 30 years. When so starved of any type of success even a draw can feel like a win.

For the bottom bit ie at least let people spill out their frustration as thats what its for. I do agree but all due respect mate its exactly the same for the positive posters being able to post positive thoughts and opinions and lately you seem one of the worst for calling these posters out.

All being said, our debts have been sorted to a more manageable way, brand new bigger boss stadium, hopefully the strongest squad in years when the window shuts. We could be heading into the most positive time half our fans myself included have ever experienced.

It’s always been embarrassing. We haven’t been good for 40 years.
We started well under Don Carlo:

"Right now, under manager Carlo Ancelotti, Everton sit atop the Premier League, with four wins from four games (seven in seven in all competitions), and striker DCL joint-top of the scoring charts with six goals. Summer signing James has sprinkled stardust over Goodison Park, and belief and optimism is flowing through the club and its supporters.

Since winning 1-0 at Tottenham on the opening weekend of the 2020-21 season, Ancelotti's team have been rampant, hitting five goals past West Brom and four past Brighton, racking up 12 goals in just four games"
