When was the last time Myers came out with a new name out of nowhere? I suspect never, or a long time ago when actually employed by Sky.

I like Myers. He only has something to say…..when there is something to say, like a legitimate link or a confirmed medical or a new signing altogether.

I don’t want more ‘rumors’ or bogus links - especially new names out of nowhere as you say. Just like the last 10-15 pre seasons, we have been ‘linked’ to around 256 different players! One has signed so far! And only another 1-2 will sign! We don’t need another journalist adding to the equation.

It’s getting tiresome and boring.

Well he’s 36 years old so if we’re not thinking about replacing him then we are completely idiotic. Also 36 year olds can’t be expected to play every minute they’re available for and will need rotating.
