People who ride bikes also drive cars. Many people who continue to ride a bicycle beyond childhood continue to experience the same positive feelings when on a bicycle. You present a serious face and I’d like to imagine you enjoying something with a smile on your face the way a younger Davek might have (assuming a younger davek smiled). That image puts a smile on my face.
Also, you’ll have noticed that some people have strong feelings about regulating cycling along roadways, paying registration fees and road taxes, carrying insurance, etc. as someone who frequently has strong feelings yourself, if you have opinions on this I’m all ears.
People who ride bikes also drive cars.
I hope this helps.
Not a fan of Armstrong, but he has a good point about the fan hit by ineos car. If you are in the middle road facing the wrong way messing with your phone may be you deserve to be hit
Are they riding faster than ever now? Or are the stages in the tour shorter and arguably more punchy/easier for them to do these efforts on climbs? It strikes me as quite funny that Froome, Wiggins and that generation were often tainted by accusations, yet their performances were some way below that from the 90s and 00s, yet since Covid, performances have gone through the roof and people are just shrugging their shoulders and saying we're having truly transformational gains in a handful of years.
I firmly believe Mount Ventoux is still as high and as steep at it was 40 years ago.Are they riding faster than ever now? Or are the stages in the tour shorter and arguably more punchy/easier for them to do these efforts on climbs?
