Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Like to see all three of him, Chermiti and Tim getting a loan out to a decent Dutch side to get them minutes in a different environment to the typical championship loan deal.
It's a tricky one as, obviously, we're currently in no position to loan anyone out with the size of our squad. A good loan can be the making of a player, however, so if they're not going to get a lot of game time here then a loan could be very good for their development. Branthwaite did great in Holland and the Derby loan for Armstrong was a much bigger success than I was expecting (a good mate of mine is a Derby fan and he loves him and desperately wants him back next season). Loans can also be a risk, though, and a young player not getting game time a long way from home could actually stunt their development, so any loan would have to be carefully thought through by both the club and the player.

TL: DR - if they're not going to play here a loan could be good!

If you want to confirm how badly this transfer window is going take a look at that Patterson thread: a 'player' almost universally accepted as someone who needed punting going into the post-season who now is being seriously considered as a 'starter' for Everton.

The noises early in the window about this RB and that RB and then ending up with just Coleman re-signing for a year is the touch stone for the inactivity we've seen from the 'exceptional operators'.

If those yanks want people to pay through the nose for the ticket prices and the gear they'll shift off the back of that new stadium they better get their noses out of Roma's arse and start looking north to this place.
