Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

My username is in reference to 1985, its effect and it contributing to the start of of our years of misery.
If you know yer istory like.

The Heysel Stadium disaster, which occurred on May 29, 1985, was a tragic event where 39 people, mostly Juventus fans, were killed and hundreds more injured due to a combination of fan violence and a collapsing stadium wall during the European Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus. The incident led to a ban of all English clubs from European competitions for five years

Those who know matter,those don’t know,don’t matter.

My username is a variation of a nickname I once had, ending with the number of variations of products that Heinz claim to have.

Interestingly, they actually had more than 60 products on offer at the time they used that slogan.

If you know your beans history and all that.

Yeh we're really gonna miss those massive impact subs of Lindstrom and Harrison aren't we.
We will miss not having a squad if we get even 1 or 2 injuries and suspensions. Just purely on numbers, we are probably 6 or 7 players short. I think the club are miles behind where they expected to be at this point in July.

We have 3 friendlies against top flight clubs in probably very warm conditions, with about 15 senior players. I would be very pleasantly surprised if we don't get injuries on this tour. And we really needed more signings to be in the door and able to take part in these games. Our pre-seasons will continue to lead to poor starts to the league season until we have most of our squad in place by the start of August.

I doubt we can afford more than five.
Honestly I have no idea how much we can afford this summer, I know PSR isn't a factor this time around.

Just going off Roma, first summer they spent roughly 100m net, given the Italian league generally tends to spend a lot less than maybe can hope for around 150m or so. In the current market though how much quality does that bring in if it's spread around good numbers.

Cheers mate. My username is my old MySpace name..my real surname is Lines, my nickname used to be, but not as much now, Lino. The prefix of 'cool' was just how I felt at the time of creation
Hi. I think my username is in reference to a hippo. I don't remember why I chose it, to be fair. I have nothing in common with hippos.

That’s a shame , I had you down as an Army general sent here to reform us .

That joke would kill in a Roma forum . Alas . ☹️

I've said around ten needed so far we have three

We need another primo CF if Chermiti goes out on loan.

We were DCL, Beto, Broja, Chermiti.

We’re now 1 down on that, potentially 2 with Leeds still tracking Beto.

We are missing a younger CM Gana Gueye type & box to box beast 8.

RW is an obvious hole.

Both full backs require upgrades.

29 days to go until Elland Road. It’s a massive job for the Club to get us set up correctly if we want any hope of finishing top 10 or Europe.

The Bobble says he’s Our number one target so if we lose out to him to those two clubs I am calling BS on our new owners.

Same way we should have all seen the red flag when Lukaku said he smelt something rotten about Moshiris plans…
Why? He might be our number one target, but take your blue-tinted glasses off and ask yourself why a player would currently fancy a move to Everton over Nottingham Forest?
