They have better fans. They question what the Friedkins do while we make excuses for them.

Alcaraz is better than Doucoure and McNeil even though poor on the right is better than Harrison there.

The first 11 isn't weaker it's pretty much the same level. Not factoring in Barry who may or may not start.

Squad is weaker but it obviously would be losing around 11 players including loans

This is basically my view. We haven't lost anyone who was in our final first 11, with the possible exception of Harrison for McNeil. I'm not 100% but I think McNeil probably starts more if he was fit.

There are fair arguments to say lots of that first 11 aren't good enough, but it's the basis of a team that showed top 8 form under this manager for half the season. To be fair I remember when we would regularly be top 8 under Moyes and there were always like 3-4 players you'd like to upgrade.

Lots of other teams have lost not only first team players, but quite critical players for them. That is a worse situation for sure.

Even last summer, we lost Onana and while people didn't like him, the impact he had on the team for Dyche at defending and attacking set peices was huge.

You do know we are two seperate clubs with completely different recruitment teams and TFG don't get involved in day to day running of football side stuff mate?

What Roma do has absolutely zero bearing on what we are doing.

Of course, “mate”, I’m not stupid. TFG DO though, sign off the cheques at both Clubs.

I have seen a couple of links to Brazilian CB, Lyanco, I dont really understand the link though, we have 4 CB's I think a 5th would probably be overkill, given that we dont have european football. He has played RB a few times, but its not his main position

Of course they do. Roma is their baby, we were a convenient pick up, a distressed asset that could be useful to help their priority club. There’s a reason they’ve rocked up in the stands numerous times at Roma but yet wouldn’t be seen dead over here

We need another CB to make sure that Keane is never too close to the starting XI

But we don't have a squad at all right now. Couldn't come close to filling the bench for a matchday and even two injuries would be a crisis with this squad. So I'd say we are overall much weaker right now because you can't play a season with 12 or 13 outfield players.

I tend to agree, but if it was three more and two loans I'd be very glad to take it. That would be 8 in total if you include Alcaraz and about the height of what we could expect. I'd take that right now.
