I tend to agree, but if it was three more and two loans I'd be very glad to take it. That would be 8 in total if you include Alcaraz and about the height of what we could expect. I'd take that right now.

As much as they was limited - it would be wrong to suggest Doucoure and DCL weren't effective players for us

Dom hasn't scored regularly for us for years, Doucoure just ran around a lot - mainstay in a team that struggled to stay up year on year.

DCL - same one everyone constantly slated.
Doucoure - same one loads slated.
And ermmmmm.... Young....lol

Unless you wanna count the loans going back but as mangala, Broja, Lindstrom were all injured that only leaves Harrison who's id hardly say weakens us by not being here.

Only was we are weaker is we lost pretty poor squad depth but depth that was better than the kids we now have to put on the bench.

Even Harrison…. Still better than any options we have on the right.

So yes we are weaker than last season in both team and squad.

And tbf Doucoure is better than Garner.

If you have a basketball squad of 5 players that are 7 foot, and 2 players that are 3 foot, if you sack the two midgets the squad is smaller but is it weaker?
