Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Wouldnt say anyone is panicking?

More so, stating that so far this is underwhelming and very poor.

Are there prizes on offer?

Who cares? Not to nitpick, but really who cares?

The fact is that whatever the situation with one player, we should be going after multiple players, in multiple positions simultaneously.

If we need e.g 5 players, we should be in for 15 and making enquiries for e.g 30.

Weve only heard for CM about Luiz and McGinn enquiries.

Surely there should be movement on someone else.

Or are we doing a Moyes...go for one. Wait...dither...wait...next one...wait...dither...wait...next one.

Its not working.

I dont think anyone expects a signing to be a coup. Not if they are looking at a top starting player coming to Everton above superior teams.

Theres no Speed/Kanchelskis this window.

This is exactly what we should be doing.

Why would Moyes torpedo this in Jan and then want him now?
Its crazy that you think the only players we are interested in are the names reported.

Utterly mental.

Who are you most concerned about us losing from the players Moyes played last season and who would you like to have seen us replace them with by now?

Who says i'm concerned about losing players?

To answer your question, who i'd have liked to see Everton sign...

Wesley (reported in the past week or so) & Truffert (reported in Jan) who we were in for under Thelwell in January.

There's 2 exciting, attacking full backs, Moyes apparently torpedoed.

Do I believe Moyes can find better at the reported fees? No.

Key word there being apparently

Why are we expectant of coups when we've been in the position we've been, particularly the mini "relegation threatened" era we've (hopefully) just pulled through?

We might think TFG is good news, it doesn't mean millionaire athletes will or have to.
We have the money to spend (seemingly) but Fortnam and Mason’s is closed and only the local convenience store is open

If true, I'm not surprised. We aren't attractive, we are a pig in makeup in the footballing world.

As big as a name Everton is historically, potential player surely don't neglect what happened in recent years. It's sometimes the hard current reality that you should be in the race with players that Newcastle or Villa get, but currently it's Forest, Fulham or Bournemouth.

More news just in....................

Everton considering an audacious bid for Alejandro Garnacho with the player wanting to remain in the PL.

Forest, West Ham also interested (Of course they are)

Arsenals Trossard is also on Evertons radar
No to Garnacho😡 just because of that bicycle goal.
Yes of course they are😂
And Trossard is just too ugly to be an extra in a zombie film 👹
