You can see a plan? You have to be kidding lol

McAtee? A coup?

Sigh...

Yes its clear really

Moyes chooses player.
Hammond negotiates
Kinnear signs off

= Failure of a window so far.

It has been a failure so far. Not sure how it could be argued otherwise?

Weve not improved the 11.

Weve not brought in the numbers.

2 areas of failure.

Clue: Moyes is ALWAYS in charge.
Nah you can’t call it a failure until you see how it pans out. If we announce luiz kubo and vagiannidis this afternoon you can’t say the window was a failure up to that point but no longer is, that’s ridiculous.

You can be disappointed by what’s happened so far and doubt that we’ll end up having a successful window, but we can’t actually judge it at this point.

Delap aside, I can’t think of a player we’ve been linked with by a credible source who we’ve missed out on yet.

It’s simple really. Whilst your 1st choice targets are in play, you do what you can to get them, whilst keeping in contact with your 2nd choice targets.

It’s a bit annoying that we haven’t done more by now, but few teams aside from those at the top and [expected] bottom of the league have. I’d rather have the work still to do than be Leeds [who look to be buying a lot of fairly average players], Brentford [who are losing their best players] or Newcastle [who look to have lost out on 3-4 of their top, long standing targets already] right now.

I am happy with the window so far because realistically we have strengthen the team and we will see the benefits of a strong pre-season in the US.

Obviously I would have LOVED to have all the signings done and ready but that's not realistic.

Barry will instantly give the squad and fans a boost and seeing a more experienced and Armstrong in first team is also a huge boost.

Remember it's pre-season, these games don't count. It's a training exercise like a work course. The proof will be when the season starts.

If we could complete a signing or two before our US Tour that would be perfect but for now, keep a calm head and enjoy your summer Blues.
I’m sure Moyes has said before in previous pre seasons with us it’s about getting fitness up and the results don’t really matter. He’s always previously run the lads ragged in training pre season

Would really like this to be our next signing. Upgrading our centre midfield is imperative to make a jump up the table. Luiz was a clear part of Villa’s upturn.

Garner is our version of Longstaff and if we persist with him we won’t progress. Newcastle demoted Longstaff for Guimares et al and it transformed them as a team.

Not having a dig at Garner, but he is a squad man at best and the sooner we upgrade the better our chance of progress will be.

If you were watching Armstrong daily and thought he could be a superstar...would you stick with Garner and give Armstrong a pathway?

I think we may be well served bringing in a CM who could replace Garner but also push Gana out IF its felt Armstrong can deliver.

That player would need to be able to do everything in the middle.

Do we have 3 new players in the starting 11 against Leeds?

I say yes, Barry Luiz and Right Winger

I think its impossible Barry starts over Beto at the beginning of the season. Maybe December onwards.

Honestly, do you think this is true? It may not be clear to us, but the club will have it sorted.

No multi-million pound company could run well without clear structure, which is why Moshiri failed so badly. TFG are proper businessmen, you can bet your bottom dollar this is clear within the club.

They made a lot of errors at Roma. Also, their key hires arent in yet.

I think Moyes is in control this summer.

Maybe Luiz is trying for Villa. Monchi said he would like him back - he can force a deal. Either way I would like Lamine Camara from what little I know of him...

Camara would be one i'd go for.

Roma signings - 0
Everton signings - 3

Roma dont need a huge amount of signings. They have the bulk of their squad and finished in a strong position in the table.

We can all call it a failure, so far.

Its not been a success has it?
