2024/25 Youssef Chermiti

Unlucky with a through ball that hit his heel, but other than that his movement and first touch was dire. Hopefully just a one off very bad day at the office.

Was a bonkers signing tbh. Absolutely fine with these punts most years but this was half our budget in a year when we were clearly in a relegation fight.

He might come good but looks a bit sub Zirkzee to me.

Neither he nor Beto were "half our budget".

Can't hold the ball up. Best thing for him would be to go back to a less physical league

Really? Because he showed 2 seasons ago when fit that he can.

Lets face it the lad will never make it for us. He might have a career if he goes back to the continent, but in all the time he has been her he has shown nothing.

He certainly showed endeavour and technique 2 seasons ago. He also showed the same 12months ago in preseason.

Other than his injury theres nothing to show on pitch that he's failed. Nothing.

….do you still believe he’ll turn out to be the most technically gifted striker we’ve had in our history?

He looked to be making progress in preseason last year, before getting injured. His touch and fitness look way off so far. He was gassed after 30 mins in the first game.
Yes looked ok in Sligo and the other pre season games last year. Post that, have seen / heard murmurs on podcasts about training attitude not being what it could be. And yes carrying some timber too.
